(June 27th, 2009)  michael jackson is rich again - following mj’s death, his album sales soared again. on Amazon it filled every spot on top10 bestselling music list (actually it filled all the way to 15th spot). it was the same on iTunes store (filling all the way to 9th spot). unfortunately all these money is of no benefit to him anymore, if not to his children. (June 27th, 2009)  mj - as you have already heard michael jackson has passed away from cardiac arrest at the age of 50. so far, funeral details are not known. indeed we never know when the ajal (the appointed time) will come after us. (comments:4)

Here is a list of my favorite WP Plugins.

  • WP-PageNavi - new
    Creates better pagination for your blog. (see screenshot below)

  • Jon’s Showoff Rankings

    Jon’s Showoff Rankings plugin for WordPress shows the rank buttons for Google’s PageRank, Alexa, and Technorati (look to screenshot above). There is also “Compete” button, which is retrieved from http://snapshot.compete.com’s data.
  • Admin Drop Down Menu
    Turns the admin links and sub links (i.e Dashboard, Write, Manage..etc) into a CSS based roll-over menu instead, when you mouse over you can immediately see the sub links of each menu. This will save time, and allow you to skip unnecessary clicks. (see demo-screenshot below).

  • Nice Archives
    This plugin will arrange your archives (monthly) in a very nice layout. [see screenshot below] Presentation can be controlled through CSS.
  • Post Ratings - Star Rater Plugin
    This plugin adds an AJAX rating system for your WordPress blog’s post/page [see screenshot below]

  • Digg it digg it
    Digg this wordpress plugin is a plugin that detects incoming links from Digg.com to your wordpress post and automatically displays a link back to the digg post, for people to digg your story. Digg stats will be displayed in a counter similar to the one at the right.

  • WP-Notable
    I guess the screenshot will explain better for this plugin. This plugin will add the following icons to your every post so that users can promote your posts if they find it interesting.
  • Identify External Links
    This plugin will add a special CSS class to all links in your entries and in your comments that go to external sites (sites other than your site).
