Ohloh.net is a directory for open source projects. It collects software metrics from a variety of sources including the project’s source code and the software development infrastructure used by the project’s development team. It’s especially good if you want to see the activity on the project, whether the project is still being developed if yes who are the developers contributing the most to the project. It shows the activity in a graphical representation.

Lightbox JS is a nice Image Preview Script created by Lokesh Dhakar. It loads the larger view of the image in the same window instead of pop-up window that many of us use. It has a nice look and a loading feature while the image is being loaded.

This nice looking tooltip is written by Alessandro. It shows the TITLE=” ” text of the links in the tooltip. You can also assign a region with DIV tags to your pages, so that only specific part of your content shows up this tooltip.

It’s a nice plugin for WordPress, if you are tired of spam then you should use this secure contact form from Dagon Design. It’s very secure and easy to install (as usual for WP). Here is the demo.

Wouldn’t it be fun to locate your website visitors on the Google Map? Well, www.gvisit.com does exactly that, after you register and place the code in your html you can start seeing visitors on the Google Map according to their locations. Another similar tool is myguestmap.lorca.eti.br. I am not very sure about the tracking capability of the script though, when I tracked for few days it seemed not all the visitors were captured to the map.
