Usabilility vs RSS count

Blogs with good content but with tons of ads on them, which are very difficult to read, and usually take long time to load — will increase their RSS count. Why? Because people want to read such blogs through RSS readers, without the ads and all the discomfort. But is it a good strategy? Well, I would choose usability instead of higher RSS count. How about you?

TribalFusion Contextual Ads

I have been trying TF’s contextual ad program EchoTopic for the last 10 days or so. Maybe you have noticed some ads inside the posts, similar to the Kontera ads. On average, it’s been doing about $1/day. I am not sure if I should continue using it. What I don’t like is, it usually inputs all the ads (maximum 7) inside the first post, which makes it too crowded.
