It seems like goDaddy is expanding its supported payment gateways. Today I noticed that they are now supporting Chinese payment gateway – Alipay from Alibaba.com. Good for Google, good for people who use Alipay.

Its good to see that Go Daddy is offering more ways to pay for the domains, Im sure this will bring them more sales.
would this improve sales ? i think no, because there ise the most used payment options, credit card and paypal, so no need for more options :)

Oh, this is a new thing for me. I just searched about Alipay in google and found that its origin is from China. Alipay is China’s leading independent third-party online payment platform.

Slowly but surely China is taking over the world. Their online presence is but in its infancy, and look how incredibly strong it already is. Google must be cursing that they can not get into a dominant position in the Chinese market.

In china “alipay” is the most used payment options.Everyone use alipay more than paypal in us,they also don’t use credit card online.

I think alipay is more better option then paypal. goDaddy will be succeed more.
China is becoming growing market and to get benefit of it Godaddy might have introduced it to get more buyers from China.
Didn’t realize that Godaddy would accept a payment form other than that of Paypal. Then again, China have a big market. Yes. Far more larger market than Alertpay payment processors have active customers/users.

It’s kinda nice that Go Daddy offer different kind of mode of payment to their customer.. Because what if other customer doesn’t have Paypal but instead they’re using Alipay it’s more convenient to them and will not have to apply on Paypal and it’s pain the ass to do it..
