ChangeDetection is a great tool that I have been using lately. As the name suggests it’s a free service for website (or page) change monitoring, whenever the change occurs it will notify you via email.
You can specify the type of changes in the preferences; whether it’s a sizable change or when the text is removed from the page or when the page is updated with new content etc.
When it’s useful? It’s useful for keeping track of newly launched sites, for example when the site is up but you see a sign saying “we are in private beta now, come back later” etc. type of websites. Or websites that do not have RSS or other types of communication tools that can notify you of the new updates. Or just to keep track of your own websites… for example when it gets defaced :) sure it will notify you when your site is hacked and the content is changed. But let’s hope that you won’t receive such a notification, ever.

Great free tool. You can also use it to spy on your competitors to see what the latest products they are promoting.
This is awesome! I’ve been looking for this kind of service, it’s been in the back of my mind to get one like this. I know I’ve heard there is also a Firefox plugin that does something similar to this.

Looks like fun! If you’r posting comments on blogs and need to see if there is any new comments or updates to a specific page this will definitely be of benefit. Useful tool indeed.
ChangeDetection looks like a really handy free management tool. Definitely worth checking out, I like the idea of receiving a mail when content on any of my pages change for any reason whatsoever.

This service is great for job hunters. With this service, you can see when certain employers change their job postings page.
This is a great tool and I know many people other than myself who use it. It has been very beneficial to a few of friends and helped them stop some serious hacking.
