Since twitter is yet to be monetized by its founders, more and more companies are coming up with programs that can make you money with your twitter account. Last time I have talked about magpie, today I want to mention about Sponsored Tweets by Izea. It’s still in beta and accepting early signups for Tweeters at the moment.
Jeremy of shoemoney got $250 for his first tweet, he has interesting post about it and “getting paid to tweet” topic in general. I have signed up and set my price to $5 per tweet :) let’s see what happens.

Who could have thought that money making opportunities will start presenting themselves on twitter so quickly? It is all about building a flock of sheeple following your twittering….hmmm, that sounds almost biblical to me! Heheheh!
I am in twitter to 3 hours a day, but never really thought about that, it can make money.
Having read shoemoney’s post about twitter it is actually so funny that he is too busy making money doing other things to actually pay much attention to twitter. He does dispense some very good ideas and it is well worth to go take a look at his blog posts on monetizing twitter.

The site has an enormous worldwide user base, with incredibly high traffic, and all that costs money, so they must be incurring fairly large running costs.

Wow! I just signed up for a twitter account but didn’t really ‘get it’, even though I’ve had a load of followers sign up – kinda weird! Anyway I think I’ll loop back and see what’s what!
