recession_map.pngClick the image for an interactive map showing each country’s economic condition. Countries that are in recession are in red color. Even the growing economies (green color) like China and India have been hit hard by this crisis.

Lets hope that the global economy will start to recover by the end of this year, and hopefully see a steady growth in 2010.

    Yup, good old South Africa is in the red too. I got loads of business friends and connections, and people are generally not happy with the economy.

    My one friend works for BMW, and their monthly sales are a third of what it was a year or two ago.

    There are many red color on the displayed map of global recession status. When the color of the whole countries become red, it means that all countries are already in the global recession. We should hand in hand to overcome it.

    nice article.. i think recession has arised to bad planning by politicians and the industrialist. most companies were waiting for recession to close down business or to fire people. the country which are shown as green are turning red because us and uk are going from worse to worst. to beat the recession and layoff i started a website online24by7 dot com. i hope the recession period gets over soon.
