ok, i am finally online. there were over 60 moderated comments and over 600 comments in the spam. normally i used to check the spam comments too but not this time, it’s simply too many comments to go through. so i have deleted all the comments caught by akismet in the spam. comments awaiting moderation were approved/rejected accordingly.

    That sure is a lot of deleted spam comments! That was over approx 2 weeks, wasn’t it? Glad to have you back in any case Ades. It is quite boring when there aren’t updates when I check in to your blog.

    that’s shocking that there are 10x more spam comments than geniune ones!
    why not set it to auto-delete?

    Ah, the problems of the dofollow blog… On the one hand, it’s a great draw, but on the other, it’s extra work keeping out the lazy bums who are too lazy to even read a single post. Seriously, if you’re somewhere to make a comment, you might as well make a real one. It’s not all that difficult and you’re more likely to have it make it through moderation. It’s better for everyone to put in the extra minute and read.

    it does make sense, since 80% of the internet is made up of spam (not p*rn as most people think).
