Want to read Google News like a newspaper? Go to newly launched Google News Timeline by Google.
Google News Timeline is a web application that organizes search results chronologically. It allows users to view news and other data sources on a browsable, graphical timeline. Available data sources include recent and historical news, scanned newspapers and magazines, blog posts, sports scores, and information about various types of media, like music albums and movies.

Timeline is so cool, I keep looking at it and wondering what other wacky purposes something like this could be used for, like resumes or IMDB profiles.
This looks great – much better than the standard Google News. Do you know how to add this to igoogle?
Cool tool. I’ll have to check it out!
em. seems good. I will try to read it first.
Looks cool :)
That’s pretty cool. Newspapers should follow Google’s examples and work this into their own sites.
I agree with Erica about newspapers. If NY and LA Times did something like this and charged for it like the WSJ Online, they wouldn’t have such a big problem. The only problems would be that most of their national content is taken from and is the same as other national stories. Both of them could be just as good by doing good local content stories.
That’s awesome, I like to see what happened on certain days instead of just the latest you see in regular google news. Could be helpful for finding stuff for writing blog posts & understanding spikes/drops in traffic too :)
ehm. looks cool and this is the first time i heard about timeline. Google really rocks!
Wow very impressive and it`s look like a real newspaper.Very helpful to people.
Really great information.Really its looking so nice.thanks for sharing it.
I like the way it looks. I’ll definitely be using it. Thanks.
I learn many things about internet marketing from your blog, thank you and good luck
I like the idea of it, just can’t seem to think of any actual uses for it
Maybe it will come to me….
Really Nice Tool. thanks For Given Info…

newspapers have to get their act together… soon… they have so much good, relevant content – but they haven’t leveraged it yet. maybe google can help them
I agree with Erica: “Newspapers should follow Google’s examples and work this into their own sites.”
It’s interesting that newspapers are so slow to innovate using web technology, often following years behind what websites are doing. This is especially ironic because newspapers have traditionally been the information providers, and they have substantial corporate money and infrastructure available as resources.
I reckon google will make a new tool which will update every few seconds and then paste the article in a little popup box in your browser.
did that make sense?
its fine with me even i’m not really use it.
It is really a great tool, we can update our daily information with this.
When will Google stop creating amazing tools and applications? This news board is great. I’ll find it really useful for catching up on the week’s news.. everything is there on one page, dated and organised.. excellent
Always trust google to come up with something useful and free!
Below is the link you would use to submit your news site. Just select “Suggest my news site for Google News” and continue on to filling out their form. It is simple as that.
Likewise google’s other services news line is one of the best for latest and updated news.
That is really neat that you can have your news chronologically ordered for you. I will have to check this out.
Why do google come out with incredible stuff.. Just love the way it works..
