    This comic raises a very serious political question: what amount of influence can a new presidential administration bring to a large government bureaucracy. I guess we will see over the next four years.

    That is quite a cynical cartoon! It serves to illustrate just how the military-industrial complex has a stranglehold on US policy and politics. The last thing they want to do is beat their expensive swords into ploughs!

    I guess somethings will never change, it can be applied to Malaysia too. Even if Pakatan managed to capture federal, things will remain more or less the same.

    Nice cartoon! It reminds me of a film I was watching at the weekend - think it was called “The day the world stood stil”.. it was really good and there was a HUGE robot in it, just like in the cartoon! Oh Obama has his work cut out for him, but he absolutely has everyone behind him by the looks of things - hope he does a good job and proves everyone right!

    Nice, but this is a serious issue. Obama wants to change everything, yet he will face many roadblocks on that adventure. It doesn’t help that his popularity is dropping either.
