WP Plugin: Wordbook (posts-to-facebook)

wp_facebook.pngSocial networking sites are great for driving traffic to your blog. It’s even better when this process is automated (as long as it doesn’t go against their terms of use, otherwise you will be cast “anti-social” and your account closed ;).

Wordbook is a wordpress plugin that allows you to cross-post your blog posts to your Facebook Wall automatically. Your Facebook “Boxes” tab will show your most recent blog posts. (see screenshot)

  3. Thanks for the information! That sure is a great plugin which I will be trying out on my new blog as well.

  4. I am continually amazed at the way software is connecting major websites. Maybe this is the next stage of Web 2.0 (or Web 3.0). In other words, this is more than a new site mashing content from other sites; this is software creating interaction between two sites, causing both sites to be better for it.

Great plugin but I have a question. Do you know a plugin that import comments publihed on FB to WP?

  11. Ades says:

@Mathgon, no i don’t know of any such plugin. I guess it would be quite difficult to that since FB entries wouldn’t match your blog entries. Unless of course you just want to import them as one RSS file and display them at the sidebar or something.

  12. This is a great little plug-in, I love how easy it is to set up and get going.

    Thanks for the post,

    James
