WordPress as Review Site
WP Review Site combined with the free WordPress platform, allows you to easily create powerful review-driven websites. It comes with its own set of plugins and professionally designed themes. It turns comments section into a review writing form, integrating star rating feature in it. It’s a bit pricey - selling at $97 - but it’s the best of its kind that you can get if you want to setup quality review site in 5 minutes.
Price: $97 - Single License, $199 - Multi License, and $299 for Developer License

This script looks really good but I bet you would have to spend a lot of money on advertising to get it going and the internet has been flooded by these types of sites lately :(

That review site is an incredible idea and with all the affiliate tools that come with it, it has the possibility of making back your investment in the them with one affiliate sale. Good stuff.

Well the concept of the WP Review Site plugin is very good. However the execution leaves a lot to be desired. One of the biggest drawbacks is that you can only have ONE set of rating criteria. In other words you can’t have seperate rating categories for RESTAURANTS or HOTELS or BARS, they all have to be the same! This is a pretty big limitation unless you want to create a site solely focused on one thing. The other thing is that $97 is a fortune for this! Plus it cost an extra $24 to have add on to add your own ratings. A $121 for a plugin? While its not cheap either, I also suggest checking out WFReview plugin to compare and see which one suits your needs better.

@Stu, you are right. That’s a huge drawback of this plugin, not being able to add more ratings makes it very difficult to have sub-categories that might have different rating criteria.
