Have you used Xoopit? If not you should give it a try. It’s a web application that collects all the images, videos and attachments from your gmail account, and allows you browse them in a photo gallery like manner.
It also has a firefox plugin for gmail. Once installed it will allow you to preview your attachments directly in the gmail. Go to plugin page to see screenshots.
Note: You login to xoopit exactly as you do to your gmail, using the same username and password.

wow that is something nice…might be useful when i need to search for picture in the future…
or sharing pictures with friends and family..so we could register for a neutral account..then email all pictures there

Yes. I used this application before and it works wonders. It’s just a shame though since i believe its no longer working today.
