Amazon launches its own Zoomii

Previously I posted about an interesting real-life like Amazon bookstore called Zoomii here.
Now, Amazon has launched its own similar shop called Amazon Window Shop. The concept is the same - you search Amazon visually rather than by “keywords”.
For video products, once you click on them it automatically shows the trailer. As for audios, it plays a sample track from the CD. You can of course purchase the product by adding to your cart. It redirects to product page on Amazon when you want to purchase the product.
It’s a cool thing, I wish it had more features though (like zooming out more than one step, listing categories… etc). I think they are probably working on the new features.

This is certainly an improvement over their regular offering. The old one is very cluttered and has been around for so long that it has become boring.

I havnt heard anything about Amazon in ages, this should be quite a good promotional tool for them
