According to Nielsen’s report, Twitter is the fastest growing social network site for the 12 months. It grew more than 300% in traffic, followed by Tagged on second place and Ning on third. Ning is a service for creating community sites. (see top 10 sites below)

Same report also shows that MySpace is still the largest social network site on the net. However, its traffic growth slowed down significantly, growing only 1% for the past 12 months.

Twitter is fastest growing by percentages (since it is small and has substantial growth) but FaceBook is fastest growing by the actual number of users. FaceBook’s percentage of growth is low because it is already so big.
FaceBook is the clear winner, and it continues to increase its lead.
