Searched Google for Olympics, and this is what I got for a result (see screenshot below). And actually I was looking for the exact result — the latest medal count. Isn’t that the most interesting part of Olympics? ;) Google is quite smart…

    I love the fact that the major news stations in the U.S. say that we are in the lead due to overall medal count while the rest of the world says China is due to their higher gold count. Google had a good idea when they made this little widget.

    i loved this feature all through the Olympics. and it gave me the idea. what if medal count was biased on number of people in the country or GDP. per metal. that would really shake up the metal count. http://www.tourist-post.com
