Normally, this book The Word of Mouth Manual: Volume II written by Dave Balter who is also the author of the book called Grapevine: The New Art of Word-of-Mouth Marketing costs $45.00 at Amazon.

It’s a new book published in 2008, the interesting part is - author has decided to release the PDF version free of charge. You can download the ebook here.

I think he has done a right move. Because how many of you guys have finished the whole (100 over page) ebook (any ebook) reading from your computers? I haven’t… If I really like the book, I will rather buy the hardcopy. So, I’m sure if the book is good, the free version will actually increase its hardcopy sales.

After all, he is a word-of-mouth marketer, so he knows what’s he doing. Because surely free book like this will create a lot of buzz on the net.
