Google Gears doesn’t recognize Google.com
Isn’t it strange that Google’s own product Google Gears does not recognize the URL google.com? [see pic] Probably they are not doing exceptions to their own domains, but come on who would complain?
Google Gears is a plug-in that extends your browser to create a richer platform for web applications. For example with it, you can use Google Docs and Google Reader offline when your PC is not connected to the internet. When it is connected, it would synchronize the offline data with online applications.
Additionally, Zoho and Remember the Milk too use Google Gears.

haha…i don’t have google gear…only google desktop and they warn about site that have security issue…

A few versions of gmail back, the google toolbar would constantly block gmail from doing things.
