    Freedom of speech is an unshakable human right, and when government arrests people for exercising this right one needs to stand up and make as much noise as possible about this, so that they can be held accountable!

    I seriously doubt that they will do it in Malaysia. It is all very well to talk about making noise if you live in a democracy and/or free country. Try doing that in China!

    I followed this link from the bottom of a more recent post, as it caught my eye. Living in post-apartheid South Africa has taught me the value of free speech, and the great beauty of the internet is the freedom of speech opportunities it creates. It is not so easy to block disadvantaged people’s stories any more.
