Google Docs: Now you can create polls too
Google Docs now allows you to create polls. But it’s not so easy or shall I say obvious to create polls in Google Docs. It’s one of those applications that are done from the programmers’ point of view and not the end-users’.
You will have to follow this tutorial to create your first poll. I hope you can remember the steps for your second poll.
I am wondering how difficult would it be to put “Create a poll” link directly in the menu and do the spreadsheet related programming at the backend? Anyway, here is the sample poll I have created below:

Nice feature, but when someone votes will he be able to see the poll result too?
By Ades on May 17, 2008
WDM, unfortunately voters do not see the results. However you can make (share) your file public so that everyone will have access to it.

Interesting Ades, now you have to come up with a poll that is attention-grabbing and controversial.
Let’s put it out there…what would we as regular commentators on your blog like to be polled about? Hmmmm, myself would like to be quiz folks on the changes in their spending behaviour with the international oil price affecting the cost of most everything. Think we’ll find that a lot more people are choosing to buy online in order to save fuel for the really important trips….
