Firefox Plugin: To-do & Reminder Manager
If you are like me who spend lots of hours on firefox, then you will find this plugin ReminderFox 1.7 very useful. It’s a to-do (and reminder) manager. It sits silently at the status bar of your firefox and lets you know of the latest to-do’s and reminders that you have set before.
When you mouse over on the status bar it will show you your reminders for today, upcoming ones + your to-do lists (see screenshot). You can also chose to be reminded through small pop-up windows if you wish.
Personally, liked the plugin very much…

Just downloaded this… however, how many reminder services do one have on the PC :) With outlook, various IMs and widgets it’s getting complicated. Reminds me of the number of clocks that are there in every house these days - one real clock, watches, on your mobiles, on DVD players, fridge, owen what not !

I currently use the calendar feature in Microsoft Outlook purely for this. It might be worth investigating so I can not waste resources running Outlook.

I need a better way to do to-do’s. I get too many pieces of paper with notes jotted down. I will give this a try.

Nice plugin. It is very good that it reminds not only the next thing you have to do, but also the other thighs that come after.

I have installed it now and am quite satisfied with what it can do. It is simple, and effective and not as complicated as the regular calendar and other services. Thank you for pointing this out for me.

This is not directly related to the post, only that i had a question about FireFox which i think is the best browser. But twice in the past month i have had trouble and a virus or something prevents it opening. Have you had similar difficulties?

I have been using ‘Post-It software notes lite’ but this sounds like a good alternative.
