Free Web2.0 Online Scheduling Tool

schedule onceRemember the text based scheduling tool that I blogged here? This tool (look screenshot to the left) is a similar scheduling tool, but it’s more advanced, Web2.0 based tool that comes with all the dragging and real-time response functionalities.

Basically, it allows you to input few day (time) options into a calendar as seen in the screenshot, and send the link to your group members. Your group members can choose which day is ideal for them (and which days are not). In return, they can also suggest their own time preferences and leave comments.

Advantage of this tool over other tools is that, it allows you to set meetings internationally, across all time zones and daylight saving changes. Did I mention it was free? (but for how long?) http://www.scheduleonce.com

Sometimes, when you need to organize a meeting or sth, all you need is to send a link, recipients can choose yes or no to attend, and view what others have done. simple and effective. I somewhere saw this service forgot…

I am good with Google Calendar. Plus they have reminder, whereby they will SMS your phone number for free. I tried that personally, and hanson toh (from google malaysia) confirmed that.

GatherGrid is much simpler to use. http://www.gathergrid.com . You can create a meeting instantly, and respondents see a simple calendar format instead of a confusing list. Plus they’ll donate a percentage of revenue to the charity of your choice!

It is looking like Google Calender. But Google Calender offers SMS alerts & colourful boxes.

  7. There are personal scheduling tools (Google Calendar), then there are scheduling/booking tools (eg ClickBook.net). ClickBook.net is ‘customer’ oriented so it’s suitable for businesses or individuals wishing to allow their *customers* to book them online. It also does reminders (SMS & email).

  8. This is so cool.I very much like the dragging functionality and the real time responses feature.

Got something to say? Go for it!
