Advertising Blogger, finding blogs that give the highest ROI
Advertising Blogger is a new project by Phil of www.contestblogger.com. Basically it’s a blog about
potential advertising spaces on the blogosphere. In other words, Phil will be reviewing worthy blogs (that give the highest ROI - Return On Investment). You should consider these blogs when you want to advertise your blog in the blogosphere (i.e buy reviews, text links, banners etc).
It’s a new project, thus, so far I have seen only the familiar blogs. I hope Phil will venture into other blog categories other than “make money online” category and give us the gems of those categories. I am sure there are tons of great blogs in other categories that we all are overlooking. Now that Phil has taken that task, we can all relax and check his website for updates. If you know of any great blogs that you had a successful campaign, do let us know by commenting on this post.
I didn’t even know that he had reviewed my blog the first (wow), for that I would like to thank him!

For anyone looking for a new marketing channel through which to advertise your blog, I suggest you check out PitchPanel, a site I recently launched.
I’m offering bloggers a 125×125 banner ad posting for free. You can opt in to cost-per-click fees, but only if you want premium placement of your ad. Otherwise, just enter zero for your CPC bid and your ad will stay on the site at no cost.
I’m pulling a fair amount of blog-seeking traffic from Google AdWords and seeing excellent click-through rates. Registration is quick and easy, so PitchPanel is a great way for bloggers with a limited budget to get the word out.

Since any advertising campaign is more or less an investment, ROI always plays an important role and, as such, I’m sure that people will find a resource monitoring just that useful.

This sounds like a useful new service. In the past I have had to dig through dozens of useless publishers on text-link-ads to find good places to advertise my blog. I hope this will simplify it a lot.

Are we best dropping a link here or contacting him driectly?
By Ades on Jan 25, 2008
If you contact him directly it will be more effective, simply because he won’t be checking this post all the time.
