I have joined the Twitter bandwagon too, which I was resisting for some time. Recent busy schedule of mine, which resulted in my blog being not updated for few days, prompted me to search for ways to keep my readers informed of what is going on in my life.
Well, first thing that came to my mind was Twitter, so I went ahead and got myself a http://twitter.com/adesblog. I don’t think I will be active twitter user though. But as I said, when the blog is not updated, you will be able to find the reasons there. I have just tested it through mobile posting (sms), and it went well. That means I can update it virtually from anywhere in the world (as long as there is reception and roaming).

How about you? Do you use Twitter? If yes, what can you tell about the service? What it is good for? What are the good and “not so good” things about the service? Any good tips you can share for effective usage of Twitter?
Yes, I twitter. I bring my own twitters down to my site and that can help tell customers that I’m available or not..
I also twit new posts and little things I find that are not important enough to blog.
Finally, there are people I enjoy following..

At this point, I’m not using it but it’s definitely on my list of websites I will be looking into soon.

And Alan, I think you should join twitter too. It’s like a mini internet over here, and good part is, many influential people are also twittering. There are plenty of useful info on personal twitters.

Ades, you are correct, twitter is definitely worth joining and I have a list websites I will be signing up for when I have some spare time (these moments are starting to become a luxury :) ), with twitter being the most important one.
As unbelieveable as it may sound, I have managed to find the time to sign up for this one and a few others today (btw Ades, I am now following you on Twitter) :)
