Since www.UserInterfaceIcons.com launched about 42 hours ago, the icons have been downloaded 3,462 times, which consumed over 5GB bandwidth of mine.

So far, it has also been Digged 39 times, bookmarked in Delicious 399 times, and received over 9,200 unique visitors in less than 2 days. Obviously, I was happy that the project was a success. Thank you for everybody who have promoted UII! Especially to WebAppers.com, JohnTP.com, CSSjuice.com, and Neryx.com. They have sent tons of traffic.

Due to to the high traffic the site received for the past 2 day, I was looking for alternative ways for people to download the icons (in case I ran out of bandwidth). I was looking at various file hosting services, but most of them were full of ads. And too much ads is no good.

Only www.lobortis.com was with no ads (I mean no ads at all).

Here is other features of Lobortis:

  • 100% FREE (Max File Size: 5GB)
  • Unlimited downloads and uploads
  • 100 days availability after no download
  • By uploading, you agree to the terms of service

I have bookmarked the service, and if my bandwidth goes beyond the limit. I will definitely will be using it. I have also noted MediaFire’s Facebook application, which has less ads than the MediaFire pages. I might be using that too.

How about you? Do you know of any nice file hosting services?
