Google AdSense rolls out new feature
The feature that has been anticipated by the publishers for a long time, has been introduced now. New feature will let you update your AdSense ads (their look and feel, link colors..etc) from your AdSense account only. (blogged about it here)
With this feature, next time you want to change your ads’ look and feel:
- You will just have to login to your AdSense
- Change particular ads’ link colors, bg colors, text colors…etc to the new desired colors
- And just press save
And all the ads, that use this script will be automatically updated throughout your blog/site. No manually changing the ads anymore in every page or in your blog’s theme!
How to activate this feature?
In order to use this feature, you need to create your ads again with the extra option that is supplied when you are creating ads. This option is called AdSense unit name and will appear at the end of the form.

This will allow you to name (identify) your ads from one another. Try to name them with descriptive names, example: by their location, site name etc. (eg. AdesBlog footer 720×90). Because later it will be easier to know which of your ad is used where.

another dump on us from google.this will waste countless hours back and forth redoing colors, and sizes!you forgot to mention that size can’t be changed .that alone will waste weeks of time in a year if you are setting up a lot of sites and wish to experiment with ad sizes.and adding the step of having to name all your ads which you could already do if you wanted too{why}using channels like ades1 ades2.or better ypn1.the ads don’t appear right away after you put them in now i think they are running even more checks now on websites before allowing ads to show.this wastes time also as you can’t see and edit ad placement and looks.ppc will be gone soon imho.anyone who thinks google is doing this to help us out is nuts.i wish yahoo would get it together..this kind of thing is gonna keep on coming from g.It a race into the toilet with google leading the pack
