Additional PR8 Directories to consider
You should consider Yahoo Directory and Dmoz.org too. Yahoo is $299/year, while Dmoz is free. If you can get listed in Dmoz, then you will be lucky. Because Google pays more attention to dmoz listed sites in search results.
If you know of any other PR7 or 8 directories, please list them in the comments.

It’s a nice list of paid directory.
But what will be the value after the next PageRank? I mean most are being lowered because they charge something. Will it be better to wait after for the next one? They may lower the price then or even add a nofollow if some are too much penalized.
My own paid blog directory is PR0(very new) so I can’t go lower than that. :D
Thanks for the list. I keep hearing things back and forth about the “new pagerank” but I also read it may disappear altogether? Would be nice to hear something official but I guess for now it will keep us guessing.
I wouldn’t spend too much effort on directories. Dmoz is struggling with internal problems and Yahoo charging $299 just for a review is so yesterday. Directories hardly send you any traffic if at all, and if your intentions are for SEO – think again. Google started penalizing paid links (Text-Link-Ads) and paid directories (Aviva Directory) a couple of months back.
Thanks for including BOTW on your list. We work hard in trying to provide a quality resource, and it’s nice to receive recommendations such as this.
Thanks again!
Thanks for the list. hope it will help
Thanks for the directory help!

Thanks for the list. It’s always good to see what folks are saying about paid directories.
very nice article, will definately try some of the above directories,Thanks!! :)
Quality and higher page rank web directories are good way to gather quality back links and still helps a lot in website promotion.
Hi,
Is it true if you get one PR 7 link you will automatically get PR 6 in next update?
Thanks in advance,

No, not necessarily. It depends on your overall stats of your blog/site too; how many backlinks do you have, how much is your traffic etc…
I am trying to drive traffic to an online directory we are building for fractional co2 laser doctors. When you are building a search engine friendly database, should each page have their own results page. Also, do you have a list of medical directories that you pay for?
Thanks for this list. Do you have same list with free submit?
All these paid directories are too costly for a new blog. Is there any for free beside Dmoz?
It’s great to see the BOTW blog directory. There are then many resources focussed around blogs, more around business typically.
Will it really work. I don’t have PR yet and of course want!
