   Can I transfer money between the card and bank account in banks other than Public Bank? Does it has any charges when transfer money to and from the card?

   thank you for the useful info on this PB debit card since I’m using it too.

   My question here; I applied for the PB Debit Card only a year ago so it means that I didn’t have a bank account there right? but can I still withdraw money from paypal into my PB debit card?

   Yes Zeri you can, you can go and get a bank account from Public Bank so that you can use the two accounts as described in the above post. But with debit card alone, you still can withdraw.

   Hi,

   Was wondering if anyone here could tell me how to get Paypal Singapore to restore my account access, its been limited. No withdrawal/sending/closing, all been restricted. I’ve been writing to them numerous times for 3 months and all I get is the same reply and no help from them.
   I had uploaded all my documents they requested and had my credit verfied with the expanded number submitted but still no change.
   Paypal reason for limiting my account: We have detected suspicious activity regarding the receipt or withdrawal of funds.
   Your case ID for this reason is PP-325-288-724.)

   Hi PH, my account too was limited last time. But luckily it was restored within 3-4 weeks. I had to supply whatever they asked and prove that the transaction that they refer was not fraudulent. I hope you will get yours restored soon too.

    I got a question. I have applied PB Visa Electron Debit Card on 12 Oct but until now I still have not received the card. I ticked the ‘ Send Via Poslaju ‘ box in the form.
    Was wondering usually take how long to receive the card?

    Hi Thomas, I think you should contact them back. Usually it takes less than 2 weeks to get your card.

    Hi,
    I have recently got a letter from PB stating that they had approved my pb visa electron and had to make a RM25 deposit to my card. I had done the deposit to my card and when on to paypal site to add this pb visa electron, but failed. It says to contact the card issuer’s customer service?..what happened?..did anyone face the same problem b4??..

    Zrol, it should be possible. I am not sure about the maximum allowed account. Why don’t you just get your money in maybank account? Singapore has maybank too. It’s a lot easier.

    No, just open normal Maybank account in Malaysia. And your friend can go to Singapore-Maybank to bank in money to your account. Or if he has Maybank-Singapore account, he can use Maybank2u.com to send you money.

    Hi! I have been wondering what to do since my credit card in the Philippines is Mastercard and not Visa.I did not see the importance of having a Visa until i was going to withdraw money in Paypal sent to me from the US. Aside from applying for a NEW card which must be VISA as well, what is this DEBIT CARD you are talking about? May I purchase this so that I can withdraw my funds from paypal?

    Hi Kara, Debit Card is a card similar to Credit Card, but with DC you cannot withdraw more than what you have put inside. With CC you can withdraw more than what you have in your account, and they pay the bank at the end of the month. But with DC if you have 100 in your account, you can only use 100 and not 101 dollars. Buying something on internet or withdrawing 101 would give you an error.

    Here is a debit card you can consider.

    Hi, I just got my PB visa electron debit card yesterday after I’ve deposit RM25 to the account. I went straight to register with paypal and tried to verify my account using the card, but when it comes to ‘enter 3-last digit from the back of the card’ - paypal said they cannot verify the three digit. What could be the problem?do I have to wait for my 1st statemment? And how do we know the pin no of the card? Thank you

    Yati, please make sure that you give the exact address for billing address that you registered with Public Bank Debit Card. Debit Cards are quite stringent when it comes to billing address details, slight difference like jln and jalan can make your transaction fail.

    I think you should receive your PIN after one or two weeks, after you get your card. For security reasons they send card and pin different times.

    Best way to solve your debit card related problems is to call up the number at the back of your card. It’s a toll free number and I think it works 24 hours. Just tell them that the card is not working on internet and ask them if their system got any error logs for your card. Usually when the transaction fails, the system would get an error message. By knowing what kind of error it is you can pinpoint the problem.

    Thank you for the response. I didn’t know that paypal would disable the card after 3 times so I contact paypal regarding this. This is what they reply: ‘

    I am so sorry about your case, as we could not verify the 3-digit
    verification number for 3 times, so this card is disabled now, and can
    not be added into the PayPal account any more.

    So, I advise you try to add another card, I am really sorry about this.’

    Just great, this is the only card I have and I waited two months for this card and now I could not use paypal.

    pui, after your card expires, you will still be able to send and receive money from paypal users. but if you were to withdraw your funds, you will have to update your card (with new card).

    sofea, you have to apply for debit card at public bank, you don’t have to have account with them but if you have it will only be advantage. Because you will be able to transfer money from debit card to your savings account through internet.

    Another way is to signup for VMI card, but at the moment the easiest way is through PB Debit Card.

    I just got my Visa Electron and I can’t seem to get it to get the expanded number use . It says “We were unable to verify this credit card. Please check if the information you entered is correct. If the problem persists, please try to enter a different credit card.”

    Crovax, that’s strange. Unless they are not allowing PB Debit Card anymore it should be ok. Please make sure you put the home address exactly as you wrote on the registration form. It’s very sensitive, slight change and it will fail… like jln and jalan might be two different things for them.

    I am not sure, but I think any Debit Card (VISA) works. Because I have used al-Rajhi Debit Card and it works fine.

    And Public Bank debit card is still working without any problem.

    I am having difficulty in making transactions and PURCHASING through Paypal. I am clear that we could withdraw money from Paypal via alrajhi and public bank debit card. But is it possible that I transfer money into my paypal account via debit card?

    Btw, Maybank Debit Visa does not work with paypal.

    Cheryl, i have never tried loading my paypal account. So I don’t know if it is possible with debit cards.

    Another way to load your paypal is through someone who has already paypal funds in his/her account. How much you want to load? Maybe I can help. You can contact me through contact form.

    D, yes you can withdraw and verify with PB Debit Card.

    Another card that you can withdraw but not verify is, al-rajhi bank debit card.

    No, you don’t have to have US bank account for your paypal. If you have then it’s great, you can directly withdraw your funds there.

    i got Publick Bank Visa Electron (Debit Card). but unfortunately i cant add into my PayPal Account.
    they said :-
    This credit card has been denied by the bank that issued your credit card. For details on why your card was denied, please contact your credit card issuer’s customer service department. Or, you may want to try adding a different credit card.

    Please try asking Public Bank for details. I am still withdrawing to my PB Debit Card without any problem whatsoever. I am not sure if now paypal do not accept PBDC.

    On 3rd oct I withdrew some fund from paypal to public bank. It was pending until 8th Oct, it said completed in my paypal account. But until today 10th oct I still not received the fund in my debit card. Is this normal?

    My situation is even worse. I’ve made withdrawal on the 16th of Sept and until today haven’t seen the money credited yet. I’m also not the only one suffering this predicament.

    Seems like it’s a paypal internal fault. According to them, it’s some missing fund.

    Do you get charged a cross-border transaction fee?

    I received funds from a US company and Paypal subtracted $16.50 USD in cross-border fees!

    I am paying 3.9% + 0.30 USD per transaction!
