oDesk launches affiliate program, earn $50

oDesk has started its own affiliate program. oDesk is a site where you can post web projects and hire programmers.
When you refer a new user — either a Buyer or Provider — and he or she spends or earns $1,000 on oDesk, you get paid $50. One thousand dollars sounds a lot, but considering that the average medium-sized web project costs more than $1000, you could make that $50 very easily. I think this affiliate program would work well on web development related websites.
And if you are programmer or web designer, next time when you are busy, you could refer your clients to oDesk instead. Rather than rejecting the offer altogether, at least you could make $50 by referring them to oDesk. sign up for the affiliate here.
