Integrating AdSense ads inside blog posts is a daunting task. First of all you can’t just cut and paste, secondly plugins that are out there allows you to insert only one type (i.e one format, e.g 300×250). That means, your readers will be seeing same format ads throughout your blog. And if you change the ad format, it changes all the other ads. This may lead to disfigurement of your blog design.

What a blogger wants with AdSense?

Bloggers want to have an option to insert different formats ads, sometimes more than one ad unit in one post. AdSense-Deluxe does exactly that. It allows you to insert more than one ad code in your blog. For example you can insert one 300×250 in the beginning, and 468×60 at the end. This is possible.

You can also insert any other non-Google ad codes too. It’s not that the plugin will restrict you from using other ad codes. Maybe author could change the name of the plugin to make it more comprehensive. How about WP-PostAds-Deluxe? ;)

Adding a new ad code

Adding new ad code to the blog is very easy. There are three fields: name, code and description.

You give a name (e.g 125×125), paste the AdSense code, and write a description for it (e.g this ad is for first posts only).

Well, I think that is all there is to know about this plugin. For closer look on other possible uses, go get it and play around with it.

I tried it and couldn’t get it to work. I also think you should have too much ads on the front page anyway if you are going to capture your visitors.
