What is in your coffee?

Lokesh has compiled this illustration based on information from Wikipedia and tidbits from other online sources. It describes types of coffees and their contents. For example Caffé Latte consists of: Espresso, Steamed Milk and Milk Foam.

If you want to print it, you can download this diagram in PDF or Adobe Illustrator format. (PDF file here and AI file here).

Ha .. i like this illustration. My hubby loves Cafe Latte but many cafes fail to meet his mark of taste, except for a small one in our local hotel.

From what i see, Expresso is the main ingredient of all 9 drinks above. Sweet .. or shud i say bitter !

This is a great guide for people to follow. In Australia, they follow these guidelines although there are some drinks on the chart that I hadn’t seen before like breve and the mocha here is without whipped cream.

I’m not sure what the norms are in the US but it seems as though all the beverages there are larger. Can someone tell me if the US cafes follow this chart closely? I know that starbucks smallest cup in Australia is called “tall”, that’s why I ask.
