Sometimes publishers get banned because their AdSense code gets hijacked by someone. A good example would be somebody that does not like you. He opens your site, views the source code of the page, copies your AdSense code into some illegal site, and publishes it. Next thing you know, you are banned from Google AdSense. Your account is terminated.

Well in order to curb this problem, Google has (finally!) introduced a new feature in Google AdSense. It’s called Allowed Sites, these are basically your sites that you own and use AdSense ads on them.

Now you can list your sites under “Allowed Sites” section and be secured from AdSense code hijacking.

We’ve added the Allowed Sites feature because we’ve learned that some AdSense publishers are concerned about potentially malicious behavior from others on the web, such as stealing their ad code and placing it on an inappropriate site. By offering this feature, we allow AdSense publishers more control over which sites or URLs can have their AdSense code. Google Support.

Take note

If you want to list your sites under this option, do remember to list all your sites. If you forget any of them, then the earnings that you get from those unlisted sites will not be counted. Basically you will be giving away all your earnings from unlisted site to big bro Google! Unlisted sites will be considered someone else’s sites. So be careful when you use this feature.

I am so glad to see Google do this. I have found so many scrapers with my content that include adsense. Yes, you can report them but much doesn’t get done or if it does, it only takes several months! I just went and added ALL my sites. Awesome and important info to spread!

Andy you can add as many sites as you can, but you should only add the sites that you have AdSense ads running.
