DB Admins and PHP Programmers needed
CompuMed Services Sdn Bhd is looking for DBA and PHP Programmers, based in KL, Malaysia. My friend who works there as IT Manager has requested me to post this job advertisement. Company is using Linux servers for in-house systems (inpatient and outpatient management systems). RDBMS used: PostgreSQL, Server OS: Linux.
Office is located in Damansara Heights, Wisma UOA building. Working hours Monday-Friday/ 8:30am-6:00pm.
Job Description
PostgreSQL Database Server administration, including uploading/updating
of data, tuning/optimization, cleaning-up, writing statements to be used
in our reporting servers.
Responsibilities
- Manage PostgreSQL related aspects of the servers.
- Fine-tune, improve automated backup procedures.
- Data uploading/ updating on daily/weekly basis.
- Write technical documentation (DBA Procedures, Guidelines)
- Write SQL statements to be updated into reporting servers.
- DB cleaning for duplicate records.
