WP Plugin: Secure and Accessible Contact Form

For some time, I had been using DragonDesign Contact Form plugin for my contact page. Until I found a better contact form WP plugin. That is, this one from Beast-Blog dot com.

DragonDesign contact form was a simple contact form with a captcha feature. On the other hand, Secure and Accessible PHP Contact Form v.2.0WP (that’s a long name for a contact name! ;) has more features and gives you more flexibility in defining the contact form settings.

It does not have a captcha feature, but it has it’s own security question. Where you can enter your own question and answer. (see image to the left) Sender should answer the question correctly, to send the message successfully.

It also comes with lots of ready made CSS skins for the form, but the bad news is that, most of them do not look very good. But that’s not a problem, it allows you to modify them or apply your own CSS styles too.

Below is the screenshot of Form Configuration section. It consists of 7 sections, and allows you to manage many things (i.e adding your personal details, timezone, error message options, assigning accessibility features to form fields…etc) You can see the working version of this plugin here.

I tried the plugin and it seems that the phone number field and contact reason cannot be turned off? I just find there are too many things to fill in. Just want a simple form with basic fields. The captcha is good though.

  8. I’ve been looking for a contact form with features such as this. Is it secure from a spam standpoint? I realize nothing is foolproof but does it keep spam under control?

    Thanks alot for sharing!
