IconLet – Search Engine for Free Icons

IconLet.com allows you to search for free icons. All icons in this search engine are under either GNU or Creative Commons licenses (see all licenses used). Basically these rules state that the icons are free and can be used in your projects, you can also modify them if you need to. You can use it in free or commercial projects. Please read the rules in detail for what you can do and cannot do with these icons.

Where is the old days that, when they said free, it was really free!? No strings attached. Actually, all these rules came out because of people, who abused the free stuff, i.e resell them under their own name/brand, claiming to be the creator of the free product and charge for it…etc Now that the rules are in place, you can actually trace back the free stuff to their original creators. And everybody is happy. Only thing is, you need to go through the rules thoroughly. At least once, before you start using them.
