ContextWeb introduces new publisher program ADSDAQ
Few years back, I had used ContextWeb and made $100+ bucks. After that, I don’t remember what happened, but I know that I had discontinued the program. In the beginning it generated quite good money, but after a while it was not working properly. I remember the ads were not related to the content of the pages.
Today I received an email from ContextWeb, asking me to join their new publisher program called ADSDAQ. Don’t ask me, I don’t know what it stands for. The main difference of this program from the others is, you can set your own CPM or CPC rates. So if you set $4 for CPM (i.e $4 for 1 thousands impressions) then only those ads which have $4 or above, will be shown on your website. If there is no ads that meet your CPM requirements, then your own or other network ads such as Google AdSense will be shown. This is good thing I would say.
At the moment, the program is still in beta. However if you wish to join it, please go to http://exchange.contextweb.com/sellingdesk/signup.html and sign up for the program. I have already accepted the invitation, if they approve me and if I implement their ads. Then, I will blog about it in the future.

Ades - Great to see that you understand the potential of ContextWeb’s ADSDAQ online ad exchange. One clarification for you. We allow publishers to set the CPM they want to earn. Now, of course, you can figure out what kind of CPC you want on a cost per thousand (CPM) basis, too. The self-service ADSDAQ exchange takes you through all the steps.
All the best,
John

John, thanks for taking time to comment on the post. I appreciate it. I hope your publisher program will be successful, it’s a great idea to allow members to set their own CPM.
