Nuffnang Earnings Update
My earnings for the MPHOnline campaign was about 0.40 cents in US Dollars (that’s right, no typo there!). The campaign ran for 6 days. A lot of things could affect the earnings (including the terrible banner that MPHOnline ran throughout the campaign), but overall Nuffnang’s performance was below my expectations. I also had to endure 6 days of slow blog.
On a happier note, nuffnang staff has responded to my post (through comments & email) and assured me that they are working on the loading time issue at the moment. Let’s hope we see a better Nuffnang in the coming updates. As for me, I will not be using Nuffnang script for now. I am not sure if I will use it again, time will tell.

If I’m not mistaken, nuffnang latest image ad is CPC based. As far as I know, CPC runs weak on image ads.

Hello there,
The reason why your earnings is so low is probably because only 4% of your unique visits are from Malaysia and our ads are all geographically targeted.
Don’t worry about it, we’re working on increasing our earnings again in the coming week so stay on with us and see how it goes alright?
Thanks for supporting Nuffnang thus far, Ades!

Hi Ades,
As for the reason to your slow page loads, it could be highly due to your kontera ads which were taking about approximately 39 seconds to load. I have benchmarked and logged the load times using firebug yesterday.
It also seems that the two scripts from kontera which have been set up on your page have already been removed. Therefore, I would presume a faster page load than previously. After benchmarking the ads from Nuffnang, it takes an average of about 0.85 seconds to load. Therefore I do not see any relations to slow page loads concerning with our ads.
Again, it could be due to our servers maxing out on bandwidth space. We do apologize if the case is true. We thank you again for your feedback on this matter and hope to serve you better in the future.

Wow…that’s pretty low for blogs like yours.
Currently, I have one running on my personal blog.
It’s going to end soon. Lets see how I’ll be doing. But I think it won’t be any better than yours.

UD0.40, wow thats way tooooo low!!
too bad they only take Malaysian traffic, its not fair for sites that having international traffic. well i oso considered to take down the ad, but wanto support the local online ad industry, so it still up there. and hope that they will do betttter in the near future.

AhBoon, yes that’s too low. I would have kept it, but it was giving me too many troubles. Thanks for supporting the local publisher programs though!

well, I do not use nuffnang but I am using Advertlets. I have experienced that my earning suddently cut down….i.e. I was earning totally RM 30.00 yesterday but today Advertlets cut it down to RM 12.00 !! I do now what’s wrong… or may be it was click frauds so Adverlets adjusted it back ?
