Making Money: Can’t do it yourself? Let others do it for you
Sometimes you might not be good at something but others might be professional at it. So it’s possible that referring others to that service actually makes more money for you than for you trying it yourself. Below is a screenshot of my account at ShutterStock.com, it’s a user submitted stock images site. You can submit your digital pictures and when people download them, you can make money for each download. I believe it’s 20cents a download. 
As you can see, my images are rarely being downloaded. But the people who I referred to ShutterStock.com are quite successful and they are the money makers for me. That’s the beauty of referral programs. You get paid for other people’s work.
Advantage of this kind of referral programs compared to regular ones (getting paid for hosting sales for example), you get paid every time there is a download from your referrals. In a regular referral program, you refer someone and you get paid only once, for that particular referral/sale. But here, you get paid as long as your referrals keep selling their images. No time limitations.
You won’t make much with this kind of programs unless you refer someone who is a really good photographer. Or unless you refer huge number of people, then you have a better chance of making money. I am making $20+/month at the moment from this, it’s not much but it’s almost like a free money.
So the point of this post is, if you see a potential money maker program but you think you are not good at it, and you see that you won’t be successful at it. Just think again, but this time think about your blog readers. Ask yourself, is this program suitable to my blog readers? Is it something that could interest them? Could they make money with it? If you answered “yes”, then let your blog readers make money, and as a result you will make money too.

Thank you for the idea. I have not thought about the referring program and that you can generate money from it. I think it is worth trying. Besides, it could be an added income for you and as well as the people you have referred. At least the two of you will be earning.
