Clicky – Web2.0 stats service for your blog or site

If your blog or site receives less than 1,000 page views a day, then you can use this service (GetClicky) for free. If you have a high traffic site, then the monthly price for the service is about $2.00/month (which is I think very very reasonable).

Before you sign up for the service you can see it in action at the demo site here. I think overall it’s a pretty good service. I am sure they will be adding more features as the time passes.

However if you want a more detailed pro stats service you should check xtreme tracking. It’s also free, but if you want to have a non-public account then it will cost you $4.50 a month. I have been using xtreme tracking for years now. And I should say it’s one of the best.

What is the relation between this and http://pmetrics.performancing.com/ ? They looks exactly the same

  2. malique says:

i hope performancing is changing its name or something, cos clicky is a perfect carbon copy! gosh

  3. KennyP says:

But I can still access to my performancing account now, I can also see no any related announcement there

I was not aware of that KennyP. It looks to me, it’s the same script, maybe they want to take it as a separate service under different name? Have to check…

  5. How does this service compare to Google Analytics? For comprehensiveness and price (free) I don’t think Google Analytics can be beaten.

Ooo looks like I am being recorded by TapeFailure *smiles*

Comparing to Google Analytics, Performancing has some better functions or stats, the most obvious one is the complete details of referer, it also provide RSS feed for you to track your stats in feed reader, I like this feature very much

Google Analytics is best for commercial website, actually I am using both of them on my blog :)

  7. Sean says:

Performancing licensed and rebranded Clicky for their own user base. :)

Has anybody else noticed different data being returned by Clicky vs. Google Analytics in side by side testing? We have a client’s website on which Clicky was recently installed and it is showing data that is quite different than Google. For example, on one day Google showed 18 unique visitors, and Clicky showed 48 on the same day, and this isn’t a one-time occurrence. Since it is much more likely that one analytics package would not report data than that another would create artificial data, I have to assume Clicky has the correct data but I can’t figure out why the difference exists.

  9. Ades says:

The most accurate data would be from a script that is installed on your own server. All services like Google Analytics have their shortcomings…

  10. Utah SEO says:

Yeah, I’m just wondering why there’s such a huge discrepancy. Google Analytics isn’t even showing half the data Clicky is.

Got something to say? Go for it!
