Microsoft takes on the free world

CNN Money reports that Microsoft is claiming that Linux violates over 200 of its patents. Now it wants royalties from distributors and users. More than half the companies in the Fortune 500 are using the free operating system Linux in their data centers. If Microsoft gets his way then Linux won’t be free anymore the article says.

    Darn, Microsoft is EVIL!.

    They just want to make money out of everything.

    Actually by partnering with Novell, Microsoft managed to have somewhat ridiculous claims in regards to Linux OS. I think it’s all marketing, we all know it’s nonsense.
