Everybody is talking about PageRank update. Some are happy and some are not. Because higher page rank would mean more money for bloggers, for example JohnChow.com had a PR4 before, with the new update it’s PR6 now. John has already informed his blog readers that next month his ReviewMe rates will be $400 instead of the old $300.
The higher PageRank just made this blog a lot more valuable for me and a lot more expensive for advertisers. My ReviewMe price will be going to $400 next month. If you want a review at the current price of $300, make sure you get your order in before the end of this month.

AdesBlog’s PageRank stays the same, strong PR7. PR8 would have been great, but I am happy with my current page rank. If you are seeing the same PageRank for your blog, try to check at RankAlert, because it’s possible that you are seeing the data from the Data Center that is not updated yet. Google has some 72 data centers, so it will take some time (up to 1 week) to see the real (updated) page ranks.

If you want to have your text link on this PR7 blog, do let me know. Currently text links are priced at $150/month. Limited spots available. So hurry.

$150 a month…DANG! Good for you Ades. If I could afford it, I’d buy one from you;)
I was happy to get a PR 3 of my recipe blog. It’s 6mths old so I’ve been waiting for an update.
I’ve read several posts about what to charge, especially if your blog has PR but what are your thoughts?
Hi Lori, this is an old post. Current price is $90/month…
Mhhh… it’s a subjective matter. First and foremost, it depends on the demand. If there are already some people who want to advertise on your blog, then you could start with higher price. Secondly, you do not want to charge too high or too low. If you charge too high, you won’t get any advertisers. If you want to work on your branding, then you probably do not want to charge too low too. Finally, your blog’s traffic, pr, alexa rank, technorati rank all will dictate the price somehow. The better the ranking, the higher the price will be.
I hope that helps…
