Vizu.com - Alternative money making program for bloggers
Earlier this month I had signed up for Vizu.com after reading a post at LiewCF. Vizu is a publisher program that allows you to display polls on your blog and earn money based on how many times the poll is displayed (CPM). You can set your own price per CPM (Price per 1000 impression), but you should take into account that if you set too high you might not get any clients. Here you can see how much others are charging. I noticed that for Technology related blogs it’s about $2.00 per CPM.
After I signed up about 15 days ago, I integrated the code into my blog and waited. It took about a week to start showing ads. Currently as you can see I have earned little over $7 (that means I earned $14 so far, because 50% of the earnings are taken by Vizu.com).
If you have a high traffic blog this is a good program to make money.
What Vizu could do more?
- Introduce a referral program, currently they do not have one in place.
- Introduce additional pricing methods besides per CPM (maybe CPA - per action?), currently you earn the same regardless of people answer the polls or not. Additional payment methods would encourage publishers to display the polls in more visible places.
