Conduit and TechCrunch are jointly offering a great service for website/blog publishers to create their own branded toolbar. It’s a toolbar that is similar to the Google’s one. It has Google search function, allows you to integrate your blog’s RSS or any RSS for that matter, allows you to display news and messages and get feedback from your blog readers - all through the toolbar.

All the customization of your toolbar is done online, you don’t have to download or install any program to your PC. Here is a screenshot of the admin area:

I have created AdesBlog Toolbar with this service for my blog’s readers. It shows the latest blog posts through RSS, shows any special updates or messages from me, displays useful links and has a Chat service for the readers.

Give it a try! You can download it here. It works with Firefox and IE. If you like it you can create your own toolbar. It’s a great way to keep in touch with your readers.
