Democracy is a poll system (plugin) for WordPress. Once activated it will create a sub menu under Manage section in your Admin Panel. Below is the screenshot of the admin area.

Plugin allows you to create multiple polls, activate/deactivate, and edit/delete them as needed. Showing the poll inside the post is easy, you just need to include this code

{democracy:ID}
ID here equals to the ID of the poll (i.e 1,2,3…etc).

Finally here is the demo:

{democracy:1}

Download the plugin at: blog.jalenack.com/archives/democracy/

P.S I just realized one drawback of this plugin, it allows you to have only one active poll at a time. That means if you create a new poll and activate it the previous poll which was active automatically deactivates. I am sure the next update will address this issue.

    You are right malique, that’s a serious drawback. But still usable if you publish one poll at a time. Thanks for the link, that’s a great alternative.
