Google mispells its logo and defends it lousily

The above logo was put up by Google on their main page for Valentine’s Day. As you have already noticed it’s missing the letter L in it. Unless Google has changed it’s name to Googe, it’s pretty clear that the designer has screwed up the logo.
In response to this mess, Google has written a post in their company blog, trying to fix the situation but with no avail:
When you look at the logo, you may worry that we forgot our name overnight, skipped a letter, or have decided that “Googe” has a better ring to it. None of the above. I just know that those with true romance and poetry in their soul will see the subtlety immediately. And if you’re feeling grouchy today, may I suggest eating a strawberry.
What they are saying is that, the stem of the strawberry is the L (I don’t buy it). Let’s see if they will put up this logo on their holiday logos page later this month.

I can see both the g and the l in the Google logo. The g is the oozing chocolate under the strawberry and the l is the stem. Pretty creative, actually.

You misspelled “misspell.” Owned.

TheWise, you are right, I misspelled it wrongly. If Google can misspelled it wrongly, it’s forgivable for individuals like me ;)
