The above logo was put up by Google on their main page for Valentine’s Day. As you have already noticed it’s missing the letter L in it. Unless Google has changed it’s name to Googe, it’s pretty clear that the designer has screwed up the logo.
In response to this mess, Google has written a post in their company blog, trying to fix the situation but with no avail:
When you look at the logo, you may worry that we forgot our name overnight, skipped a letter, or have decided that “Googe” has a better ring to it. None of the above. I just know that those with true romance and poetry in their soul will see the subtlety immediately. And if you’re feeling grouchy today, may I suggest eating a strawberry.
What they are saying is that, the stem of the strawberry is the L (I don’t buy it). Let’s see if they will put up this logo on their holiday logos page later this month.

I can see both the g and the l in the Google logo. The g is the oozing chocolate under the strawberry and the l is the stem. Pretty creative, actually.
Even i found that i can see very well g and l in the google logo!! who says google name/logo is misspelled?? Its not at all.. !
Well Done Artist @
Also congratulations to all those involved in the chain!

You misspelled “misspell.” Owned.
TheWise, you are right, I misspelled it wrongly. If Google can misspelled it wrongly, it’s forgivable for individuals like me ;)
Ades MISSPELLS a word in a post that blasts Google for misspelling something, then defends it lousily.
wow! I’d never heard of this one before
