Developments on the gCard

Please check this site regularly in order to get the latest info on the gCard and on how to get your funds back. One option they are discussing now is to return the funds in the form of a check. I think that would be a pretty good solution. The site requires you to enter the first 5 digits of your card and gives you access to a claim form (PDF) that you should fill up and send it to them, together with your gcard cut in 2 pieces (Please keep a photocopy/scanned copy of your card for your own records).

Hi!
Have you received your cheque from nyccu? They said that by the 10th of May all cheques should be received, it’s the 4th of June now :(
I tried to contact them via phone but they keep hanging up, and don’t reply to my e-mails. I am starting to think this is a scam. I had a huge amount ($11K) in the account.

Luckily my last deposit was returned back to my PayPal, so I didn’t loose anything. I had few dollars in the gCard account, but that’s okay.
I am really sorry to hear that you had 11K in your account. You should pursue them and get your money back, even if it takes for you to fly there and see them personally.

Going there will not help, I have and they advised me taht they are only accepting the claims on behalf of the claims department which is not located in there branch. They basicly told me that if i where going to get my money back it would be in the form of a check and it would come to me in the mail. When i asked how long would it take they said as long as it takes.

Hello anonymous and Jose
Have you now got the nyccu cheque? I still haven’t got mine and now NYCCU says they don’t have access to funds! Don’t know what to do!
