Script for displaying any website’s screenshot - Free
Using the following script you can display any site’s screenshot in your html, similar to the one above. This is particularly useful for directory sites that want to show a screenshot along the listing details. Replace the url with your own. If you want to use this in your directory script then you should replace the url with your directory url variable, example: $URL
<img src=”http://msnsearch.srv.girafa.com/srv/i?s=MSNSEARCH&r=http://www.adesblog.com” align=absmiddle border=”1″ width=120 height=90>
As you might know Alexa.com also provides a similar service, but they charge $0.0002 / thumbnail shown (i.e. $0.20 per 1,000 thumbnails). For more details see aws.amazon.com/ast

Hello
I liked your blog, it was fun to read. I look for blogs all the time that can influence me to come up with unique ideas for my blog. If I were you I would go to http://www.autosurfmonster.com and submit this blog so thousands of others can see it for free. I found the website on accident but they really do give free traffic and so far they seem ok to me. well, i look forward to all the updates. thanks again.

The information that you presented was very helpful. I have been looking for ways in which to display a screenshot in my html. This has been by far the best answer I have gotten. Great work Ades!

It only works for me if I change ‘xsrc’ to ’src’. Is ‘xsrc’ a typo, or should that work?
By Ades on Oct 6, 2007
Tim, that was a typo. Fixed now. Thanks for bringing it up.
