Google has 500+ domain names…
Apparently Google has registered more than 500 domain names. By going through the domain names you can have some idea where Google is heading and what they are up to next. Here is the list of the domain names at Neil Patel’s site: www.pronetadvertising.com/articles/googles-growing-list-of-domains.html
You can also see what Google is officially working on at Google Labs. As you already know, Google allows it’s programmers to spend 20% of their time on their own personal projects. However most of the employees (80% of them) spend it on the projects that are related to Google. And this keeps Google one step ahead of it’s competitors, after all - all the cool things are these days are developed by individuals and not by companies (e.g flickr, del.icio.us…etc) and only later acquired by large corporations.
